It is 3rd post on the SEO introduction.

Three pillars of SEO are;
Great Content- already discussed in our previous post.
Quality Links and Backlinks and
The 3rd one is Technical stuff.

2. Quality Links and Backlinks:
Let's see them in a little more detail one by one.
Generally, we classify links into two broad categories, internal and external links. We give a separate category to backlinks because of their importance in SEO.
All those links which are present on our webpage and by clicking on them we reside on our website are known as internal links or inbound links. They are further divided into two kinds, Jumping, and Navigation links.

Jumping is those which carry us to another page of our website by clicking on them while Navigation is those links that don't carry us to another page of our website and we last on the same webpage. These links help us in indexing and navigating our content on a webpage and increase user experience (one of the critical factors for ranking).

Now, the second kind of links are external or outbound or hyperlinks, which are those links on our page that we give to any other authoritative webpage or a site like any government website, google scholar, etc.
These links increase our Content authenticity and are an essential part of good Content.

Be ready fellows, we are entering the most important part of this post; BACKLINKS.
Backlinks are those links of our website/webpage which are present on any other authoritative, authentic, and OUR NICHE RELEVANT websites.
Don't worry,
It's easy to understand, these links are external links for those websites on which they are present while for us, they are called backlinks.

They are an integral part of SEO because they are the most powerful positive signals or VOTE of the other authority websites for google algorithms or software of ranking to keep our webpage in a higher position of SERP.
For ranking on SERP, both qualitative and quantitative backlinks are necessary.

Remember one more thing, not all the backlinks are equal in quality or power. The power of backlinks (vote) depends upon that website authority that has given it to us.

The SEO of links is known as OFF-PAGE SEO especially BACKLINKS.

Off-Pages SEO is all about Backlinking.
No Backlinking no SEO, so backlinking is necessary for our website ranking, it helps in indexing our Content in google indexer. It increases the authority of the website/ web page or content.
Generally, Off-page SEO includes Inbound links and Outbound links.

Now our journey is entering into the last part of SEO, which is Technical stuff.

3. Technical stuff. It's also known as technical SEO and it's part of ON-PAGE SEO.
It represents all technical aspects you need to rank your Content. Technical SEO, allow search engine crawlers to find your Content. You need to apply technical stuff for proper SEO. It includes
Indexation, Site speed, Redirect, User experience, Accessibility, Structure markup (Content mapping).
